looting is just alright with me
I take back my earlier comments about looting, the situation is so dire I will no longer judge. It does seem odd to focus on electronics when people are dying, but people are in survival mode so who's to say.
The shoot to kill thing is disturbing. Looting in an effort to survive shouldn't be a capital offence in my opinion.
I think it's harsh to blame Bush for our lack of preparedness, but I don't think he should get a pass either. A lot of bad stuff has gone down on his watch..a lot, and he's got us busy looking for WMD's (nope, I'll never let go of that detail, cause that was the reason cited for going)

wars we can't win, with ill-equipped troops
crappy healthcare
poverty
Ah bless your heart don't you worry about it, just put on your Toby Keith cd, and polish your magnetic ribbon. Oh and go shopping, remeber that was the answer after 911..buying stuff.

wow. i can't believe you didn't blast President Bush. wait, I think you did. I might have to go back and read your post again.
I used to always use my food money for records back in the day, but at some point I'd hungry and sell some back to the second hand store and go eat a salad bar.
So I guess I would loot Sound Warehouse
I still think the looting is insane but I blame the circumstances not the people. The raping and killing is another story. There is never a reason to rape anyone and the merciless killing is ridiculous. Desperation does crazy things to people but come on...
